Bzzz Honey Packaging Design

This creative packaging design is made by Backbone Studio from Armenia. "The most tasty honey is in the beehive. But it is impossible to buy it in a market – it was impossible. Designers of Backbone Studio have made it out of wood and hid the can with honey into the improvised beehive. Simple but simultaneously original wooden wrapper is the message to the nature, ecology and pure taste. You immediately want to open and taste it, and there are no bees!”

This Is Steve Jobs' Yacht

This Is Steve Jobs Yacht
Gear | Other

The luxury yacht Steve Jobs had been designing up until his death a little over a year ago and on october 28th it was unveiled in the city of Aalsmeer in the Netherlands. The ship is about 230 to 260 feet long, for instance, and made entirely of aluminum, which makes it particularly light. And if you had any doubt this is Steve Jobs' yacht, there are seven 27-inch iMacs in the wheelhouse. According to One More Thing's sources, the Jobs family will be present for the yacht's christening ceremony proper...
"After our omelets at the café, we went back to his house and he showed me all of the models and architectural drawings. As expected, the planned yacht was sleek and minimalist. The teak decks were perfectly flat and unblemished by any accoutrements. As at an Apple store, the cabin windows were large panes, almost floor to ceiling, and the main living area was designed to have walls of glass that were forty feet long and ten feet high. He had gotten the chief engineer of the Apple stores to design a special glass that was able to provide structural support. By then the boat was under construction by the Dutch custom yacht builders Feadship, but Jobs was still fiddling with the design. "I know that it’s possible I will die and leave Laurene with a half-built boat," he said. "But I have to keep going on it. If I don’t, it’s an admission that I’m about to die.""

The line of clouds from the Gulf of Mexico north are associated with the cold front that Sandy is merging with. Sandy's western cloud edge is already over the Mid-Atlantic and northeastern U.S.

The Known Universe  Hans Zimmer

"From the American Museum of Natural History:
The Known Universe takes viewers from the Himalayas through our atmosphere and the inky black of space to the afterglow of the Big Bang. Every star, planet, and quasar seen in the film is possible because of the world's most complete four-dimensional map of the universe, the Digital Universe Atlas that is maintained and updated by astrophysicists at the American Museum of Natural History. The new film, created by the Museum, is part of an exhibition, Visions of the Cosmos: From the Milky Ocean to an Evolving Universe, at the Rubin Museum of Art in Manhattan through May 2010."
