Made by Japan's swimwear company Yamamoto Corporation. Yamamoto says it differs from traditional radiation protective clothing. The first layer of protection is a pair of lead-lined underwear that keeps harmful gamma rays away from your abdomen and lower spine, where it could do irreparable harm. A beta-ray shielding suit should then be worn over the gamma ray crotch guard to ward of the beta rays. The shielding suit is effective as its seams are completely fused, keeping the radiation out and keeping its wearer safe. Yamamoto Corporation is slated to begin selling its radiation shielding garments later this month. The drysuit(a sort of wetsuit) will run you $1,072, while the lead-lined underwear will cost an additional $825. Extremely expensive!

Wet Dog by French photographer Sophie Gamand. "Wet Dog is a series on dogs being washed during their grooming sessions. The way the water plays with their hair in a very painterly manner, and their facial expressions as the water is poured on them creates striking portraits that resemble famous humans or important characters. The dogs become timeless sculptures. Wet Dog is part of a project about grooming and the way we alter our dogs’ appearance to fit standards of hygiene and beauty."
