Kitoko fills tiny 8 sqm parisian apartment with hidden
    Design

French designers Kitoko turned a tiny room (8 sqm) into a really functional and easy to live apartment.
"despite the limited dimensions, the space had to be functional in order to sleep, cook, eat, wash, work and store a maximum amount of items. according to the studio, their architectural response that implements many different amenities refers to the ‘concept of the swiss army knife’. the accessory is a simple knife but, by a game of sliding and folding, it can contain a multitude of tools in a very small object. therefore, the renovation is a modular transcription of such an object with elements of storage, a bed, a table, a wardrobe, a staircase, a kitchenette and a bathroom, all fully integrated within a large closet, which can be opened and closed according to the needs and changes the perception of space. kitoko believes, ‘the requirement of a unique multifunctional space has first been seen as a fairly complex constraint and, in the end, it became the real strength of the project.’"

a Snow Monkey using an iPhone
    Pic
This photo was taken by the talented and award winning Dutch photographer Marsel van Oosten at the Jigokudani Monkey Park in Japan. A Japanese snow monkey (also known as a Japanese macaque) who mischieviously stole a tourist's iPhone at the Jigokudani Monkey Park in Japan.
In an interview with 500px, van Oosten explained circumstances surrounding the shot.
"We were standing close to the edge of the hot spring, when one of the tourists started taking shots with her iPhone, moving the phone closer to the macaque after each shot.
Suddenly, the macaque grabbed the iPhone from her hands and quickly moved away towards the middle of the hot spring!
The owner screamed in agony, but the macaque was too fascinated by its new toy to notice.
The minutes that followed were downright hilarious. Monkeys already resemble humans in so many ways, but when they're holding an iPhone, the similarities are almost scary. At some point, it even managed to let the built-in flash of the iPhone go off. When the macaque decided to do some serious underwater testing, the owner of the phone almost fainted. Meanwhile, I was fully aware that this would result in some of the most original snow monkey shots ever

Nixie Wearable Drone nbsp Is Worn On Your Wrist

Your wristband turns into a fully functional quadcopter drone with a camera. It flies out, takes a few pics or video, then flies right back to you.  If that sounds too science-fiction for you, be aware that it’s a real product in development. It’s called the Nixie Drone, and the project literally just got wings: it recently won $500,000 through a design competition held by Intel. That’s right, Intel was holding a MakeItWearable Challenge, aiming to further invigorate the wearables market. Nixie recently got the top prize, giving it enough cash to take the rough prototype much closer to becoming a product you can buy. Good idea!
