"Designed for teenagers who enjoy both lounging and cranking their music, the Subsonic Chair sports a set of 16-inch subwoofers which you end up sitting on, letting you hear and feel pretty much every single note and/or sound when hooked up to an MP3 player or a gaming console."

    Transparent Chair

    Transparent Chair
    Home  |  Seating
This Transparent Chair from Japanese design firm Nendo is made from three metal loops wrapped in polyurethane film that ends up supporting someone...
"A chair made with polyurethane film, a transparent film commonly used as a packing material for precision instruments and products susceptible to vibrations and shock, thanks to its high elasticity and ability to return to its original state. Looking at the chair, it seems to consist of nothing but a backrest and armrests. It wraps and supports the body like a hammock, providing a light, floating feeling for the sitter"

She pays just over $700 for her 90-square-foot microstudio. After a bit of adjustment she now loves living smaller, simpler and cozier. "

South Korea's Sejoon Kim has designed a clock where users have to feel the flexible face to reveal the time.
"The hands of the clock are hidden behind a layer of stretchy fabric, and remain invisible as the time ticks away. So if you actually want to see the time you have to get up and press your hand into the fabric so that it stretches over the hands, making them visible" And it also equipped with GPS hardware so that the time is always accurate,  no buttons or dials allowing it to be manually adjusted.

    Ultimate Pirate Ship Bedroom

    Ultimate Pirate Ship Bedroom
    Home  |  Design
Designed by Steve Kuhl. The six-year-old occupant from Minnesota wanted Steve to build a one-of-a-kind bedroom for a one-of-a-kind son. Steve concepted a space ship, race car, and castle before landing on this design.
"The main feature of the room is the incredible floating pirate ship. Kuhl used 2x12 ribs to construct the hull of the ship, covering them with layers of 1/2 inch plywood to act as the planking. A bomb-proof blend of plaster and epoxy with integrated coloring was used simulate an old ship's hull.
The room is also decked out with a rope bridge that connects the pirate ship to the top of a jail cell, and a rope suspended from the ship's hull provides drop-in access to the closet. There's also a completely hidden spiral slide, that lets you travel downstairs in a more adventurous way. "
