Loop, a minimalist LED table lamp, is created by designer Timo Niskanen from Finland.
It is designed to endure through time through its pure design language intended to counter constantly changing fashions and trends, as well the use of LEDs as a light source. The lamp prototype is manufactured by bending a machined piece of solid surface material around a mold.
On the surface, it looks like nuclear warhead or part of an exotic anti-matter weapon, but it cheats your eyes, it's actually a bottle of wine! The wine, dubbed 2004 Block 42, is made by Australian Penfolds. Each bottle contains 750 milliliters of wine and is sold at $168,000, the priciest wine in the world.
The new chair "Loft" by the designer Zbigniew Strzebonski of the studio Modestwork. "This design was conceived as a statement piece for an urban loft. It draws its aesthetic cues from steel structural elements, but expressed with greater levity. Its reinforced steel structure makes it well suited to outdoor use also. Construction is based on familiar techniques – TIG welding and powder coating – to achieve a very durable finish in a very economical way. The chair is available in three different options: coloured, straight crossbars, radial bend crossbars or a wooden seat."Zbigniew Strzebonski says.
Inovative lazy football designed by Italian designer Emanuele Magini who got the idea from his passion for football. "When I was a child, my passion for football could not be completely fulfilled by playing all day in the public parks of my hometown. For this reason in the evening I used to keep on playing at home with all sort of different balls, with great joy of my mum that saw our house constantly in danger. Unfortunately, while growing up, I started to watch sport on the sofa more than actively playing it on the field. This fact was the inspiration for Lazy football, the symbol of my unstoppable passion for football, designed in a new comfortable home version."
The Swing Table by Duffy London. "Putting a little extra fun into dinner time, this four poster table uses its structure to suspend a central GEO lampshade and eight hanging chairs that sway playfully. This design creates an exceptionally divergent dining experience and aesthetic, creating a room within a room, with chairs that hover around the table, it also makes vacuuming a breeze." The Swing Table is $7,790, for rich guys!
Terrarium Floor Lamp by autumn workshop. "The terrarium floor lamp emerged from experimentation with two things: touch dimming lamps and terrarium lamps. The goal was to merge the two in a unique way that would provide a larger upright lamp with the pleasant functionality of adjusting the brightness with a touch of the finger. You need only tap the steel bar to select one of four brightness levels, which is an elegant and ergonomic solution to the floor lamp switch."
