If you remember Dhreck's Hemp-mote? Today the crazy Dhreck has brought his new Mini-Mote and Nunchuk. Dhreck has modified a normal Wii mote and Nunchuk in a minimizing size, a very minimalistic mod(as his word, I don't know why he do this modifications). Cool? Maybe not?
"That said, while minimizing all contact would obviously be best, in reality I've dropped, prodded, miss-glued and over-filed more than sheer accident would allow for (to the point of seeming entirely too intentional) but lo and behold - they live.
Part 1 deals with the making of a trimmed down Wii-mote base that can act as a starting point for more complicated mods.
In Part 2 I'll focus on taking that base and making it into the Mini-mote & Nunchuk, a very minimalistic mod."

The GigaPan($379) is a robotic camera mount that automates detailed panoramas. First a digital camera is attached to the Epic, a small robotic mount that automates the picture taking process. Next, the hundreds or thousands of resulting images are downloaded to a computer and the GigaPan Stitcher software automatically combines them into a panorama.

What's this, the big lamps on the floor? A project uses an array of emergency beacon lights. Beacon is a kinetic light installation with a mind of its own. An array of emergency beacon lights interacts with visitors, tracking their movement through the space, creating an immersive and playful experience. By Chris O'Shea and Cinimod Studio.
"The installation exploits a transfer of technologies from existing industrial products. The beacon lights have had their internal parts replaced with custom hardware, enabling the rotation of the reflector and lamp brightness to be individually controlled. Thermal imaging cameras have been adapted to track the participants' movement through the space.
Beacon is orchestrated in real-time by a bespoke control system, which uses tracking information from the cameras to coordinate an interactive and highly responsive behaviour." Electrical Design and Engineering by White Wing Logic.

The GPS and control keys are in the upper left shoulder, It is not only a navigation system, but also record where you went skiing, share points of interests, an accurate measure of your speed and "friend finder" function(if several people wear this jacket). "The NavJacket guides you through the montains using a guiding arrow located in the sleelve area. It obtains its routes and points of interest(POIs) via a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. You can create the routes yourself, or donwload them from navjacket.com. Once the jacket has loaded the routes and the waypoints into its memory, you can also use the Navjacket without a mobile phone. Simple select routes or POIs on your sleeve and the arrow in the sleeve will guide you to your destination. You can also select statistics you wish to view and record your own route or tag your favorite sport with one push of the sleeve - mounted button."
