A Swedish church unveiled a life-size statue of Jesus Christ during their Easter morning mass. This 6-foot-tall statue of Jesus has building out of 30,000 Lego blocks. It took the 40 volunteers about 18 months to put all the tiny plastic blocks together, and their creation shows a standing Jesus facing forward with his arms outstretched. This Lego Jesus Statue is a copy of Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen's "Christus" statue on display in Copenhagen.

The Tweenbot is a cardboard-bodied, human-dependent robot that navigates the city with the help of pedestrians they encounter. Tweenbot has equipped with a flag stating its intended destination, and rely on people they meet to read this flag and to aim them in the right direction to reach their goal. Kacie Kinzer, the student of Tisch School of the Arts created the tweenbot for his art experiment.
"Given their extreme vulnerability, the vastness of city space, the dangers posed by traffic, suspicion of terrorism, and the possibility that no one would be interested in helping a lost little robot...
The results were unexpected. Over the course of the following months, throughout numerous missions, the Tweenbots were successful in rolling from their start point to their far-away destination assisted only by strangers. Every time the robot got caught under a park bench, ground futilely against a curb, or became trapped in a pothole, some passerby would always rescue it and send it toward its goal. Never once was a Tweenbot lost or damaged. Often, people would ignore the instructions to aim the Tweenbot in the ¡°right¡± direction, if that direction meant sending the robot into a perilous situation. One man turned the robot back in the direction from which it had just come, saying out loud to the Tweenbot, "You can¡¯t go that way, it¡¯s toward the road.¡±" Oh, I love this world.

"Hi. I modeled a monobike some weeks ago as part of my Masters project at Bournemouth University. The course finished but i decided to spend some time to improve it and compose it on top of a photo.
Meanwhile i thought it would be nice idea to post it.
The model started in SolidWorks (engineering application) and then i added some details inside rhino. The bike was done with NURBS in 6 days. The real challenge was getting the nurbs into XSI. At the end i just convert it into a mesh obj. Details like bolds and nuts and rendering was done in XSI 7 using mentalray.
My main concern was to model a monobike that would use realistic or almost realistic parts and have something from WWII military bikes. "

Thomas has DIY a steam powered iPod generator, a weird idea.
"Hi, thought you might get a kick out of my latest project. I coupled a Lego Technic Motor to a Jensen #75 steam engine to make a crude generator. From there I built a 5V regulator circuit and soldered in a female USB connection to power any USB device. Since I wanted to use it to charge my iPod, I put in a diode and a .5 amp fuse to provide some circuit protection. Attached are some pictures of it and here are some links to videos of it in action. Unfortunately you can't see the charge light on the ipod, But as you can hear, the iPod really loads the engine. I was somewhat surprise it could hack it. ", Thomas writes.
