Featuring a Heads-Up Display (HUD) that projects an image on the visor, you’ll be able to get turn by turn directions or a standard map view. The Skully Synapse HUD is integrated into the helmet visor and appears to float around 20 feet ahead of the rider’s field of view. The Slick Motorcycle Helmet has a rearview camera, GPS navigation, play music and connect with both iOS and Android devices. And the company plans to release an SDK for developers later this year. The company claims is good for 9 hours, enough for a full day of riding. As for pricing, that’s still up in the air, but you can get in line to be part of the beta-testing set to begin in the next few months.
Seattle-based designer and visual artist Taras Lesko has created a life-sized Lamborghini Aventador police interceptor model entirely out of paper. The car measures eight-feet long and weighs just over 11kg, the 'aventador A-E2' is constructed using architectural E2 paper sheets (for the prints), which are mounted to thick chipboard material for added strength.
CRP’s Energica Ego isn’t the fastest electric motorbike, but it is the first entirely electric street-legal motorbike on the market. The bike, which weighs in at 580 pounds, powered by a 100 kW engine that tops out at more than 130 mph. Currently, only one prototype exists, but CRP plans to start production in early 2015, it’ll be available for purchase at $23,000.
BMW has officially unveiled the BMW i8, a two-plus-two, swan-wing-doored hybrid coupe that features a BMW TwinPower Turbo 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 170 kW (231 hp) of peak performance on the rear wheels, and an electric motor sends 131 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque through a two-speed automatic to the front wheels. With all-wheel drive at its disposal, the total system power sits at 362 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque, and allows the i8 to scamper to 62 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds, and a top speed of 250km/h (155mph). That excellent performance is offset by an estimated fuel economy figure of 94 miles per gallon. Prices start at $135,972, the second most expensive member of the BMW range, behind the luxury rocket known as the 760Li. "Driving Experience Control switch and eDrive button allow driver to choose from five driving modes; range of up to 35 kilometers (22 miles) on electric power alone and a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph); COMFORT mode offers optimum balance between dynamics and efficiency; combined range in everyday conditions: over 500 kilometers (310 miles); SPORT mode with ultra-intense boost function provided by the electric motor; ECO PRO mode can be used in both all-electric mode and hybrid mode."

The Rimac Greyp G12 Electric Bike hits a claimed a top speed of 40 mph and a range of about 90 miles on a single charge without the need to peddle. Recharging from nothing takes just 80 minutes with a standard 220V outlet, after which you’ll be able to unlock the bike with its built-in fingerprint scanner. There's no official word on price or availability, but if you want to become a "dealer," you could expect to take delivery of one as soon as October for 6,000 euros (about $7,900). BMW revealed the BMW Concept X5 eDrive today ahead of its public debut at next month’s Frankfurt Auto Show. The Concept X5 eDrive combines a 95-horsepower electric motor with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, reachs speeds of 75 miles per hour and a range of 19 miles under electric power only, 0-62 in under seven seconds and drivers can select from three PHEV modes: one that operates the system automatically, an all-electric mode and a Save Battery mode to preserve the battery's current state of charge.
The electric-powered Armadillo-T was developed by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) as a way to help reduce the amount of space used when a car is parked and not in use. Using a 13.6 kWh battery, the car is able to travel up to 37 miles per hour with about a 60 mile range on a single charge.To accommodate the folding feature, the designers replaced traditional fold-out rear view mirrors with surround-view cameras. Its size can fall to 1.65 meters as the rear part can slide forward, folding the two-seat doors up vertically. The four in-wheel motors also provide effective four-wheel drive, and enable it to rotate 360 degrees when it is folded.

The BMW M4 Coupe Concept unveiled at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The design features include a carbon fiber roof, front splitter, tailpipes and the 20-inch wheels exposing big six-piston from brakes.There is still no word on the M4's powertrain yet. "The BMW Concept M4 Coupe reflects the BMW M philosophy in ideal form: It combines motor racing genes and unrestricted everyday suitability in a highly emotional overall concept," says Friedrich Nitschke, chairman of BMW's managing board.
Jeff Bloch, AKA "SpeedyCop", is an American race-car enthusiast who likes to create all sorts of crazy contraptions for the popular 24-hour LeMons Race. His latest project is a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro that SpeedyCop flipped over, then made roadworthy. To create this one-of-a-kind freak on wheels, he stripped off the Fiesta’s body and replaced it with the upside-down carcass of the Chevy Camaro. "I’m an 8 year-old kid trapped in a 40 year-old body, with just enough talent to pull off my wacky ideas, and, fortunately, enough truly amazing friends to help make them a reality."
Two women(Tali Shaul, a psychotherapist and Hagit Morevski, an ecological pond water treatment specialis) living in Even Yehuda have come up with a creative solution to the Israeli housing crisis: they transformed an out-of-use public bus into a luxury living space. They bought an old bus from the Israeli public transportation company Dan’s warehouse and began the transformation. The bus was stripped inside and broken down, so much so that Shaul and Morevski decided to enlist the help of their designer friend, Vered Sofer Drori.

Lamborghini announced a new Gallardo model today, the all-wheel-drive LP 570-4 Squadra Corse, and it's almost identical to the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo single-series race car. Powered by 570-horsepower V10, a lightweight body built out of aluminum and carbon fiber. Hitting 60 miles per hour takes just 3.4 seconds, but even more impressive is its run to 124 mph in 10.4 seconds, and a top speed of 199 mph.

Honda created this 308 pound monster with their title winning British Touring Car Championship partner, Team Dynamics. They took the body of one of their HF2620 Lawn Tractors and stuffed it with the 1000cc engine from a VTR Firestorm motorcycle. With 109 horsepower and geared to have a top speed of 130 mph. In testing they’ve pushed it up to 100mph, though we’re assured it can do better. The best part? It still cuts grass, thanks to two electric motors, it can cut grass at around 15mph. Featuring the original 911 includes the 3.8L flat-six engine, Fuchs wheels, a chrome grill, classically styled gauges, and houndstooth-patterned sport seats. Jeff 'Speedy Cop' Bloch, a 40-year-old Washington, D.C. police officer, combined an old Cessna aircraft with a Toyota fan to create this plane car. He converts plane into roadworthy car. The car, named Spirit of LeMons, can reach speeds of 90 miles per hour.
This is a collaboration between BMW and Pininfarina(an independent Italian car design firm) is this blunt-force two-door called the BMW Pininfarini Gran Lusso Coupe. BMW Group and Pininfarina joined forces to bring an idea to fruition: "The appeal of this collaboration with Pininfarina is that you get another, very different and special angle on facets like luxury and exclusivity." The BMW Pininfarini Gran Lusso Coupe is Based on the 7-Series platform, the Gran Lusso Coupé sits on exclusively designed five triple-spoke 21-inch wheels finished in a mix of matt-sheen aluminium, black and black chrome, and is powered by a V12 engine. BMW and Pininfarina are also staying quiet on any potential production plans that might stem from the concept.

The ABT has taken the Audi R8 V10 and made it faster, pumping up the 5.2-liter FSI V10 from 525 horsepower to 600 hp, and torque from 391 pound-feet to 406 lb-ft. ABT has increased the horsepower from 525 to 600, they claim a 0-62 mile per hour run of 3.5 seconds, the same as the R8 V10 Plus and they've increased the horsepower from 525 to 600, and a top speed for 198 miles per hour "is no problem at all."
British automaker Aston Martin is celebrating its centenary by introducing the 'CC100 speedster concept'. The body and interior are crafted entirely from carbon fibre - designed and constructed in fewer than six months at Aston Martin's global headquarters in Gaydon. Paired to a six-speed hydraulically actuated automated sequential manual transmission with column-mounted paddle shifts, the 'CC100' reaches 0-100 km/h ( 62mph ) in 4.0 seconds, with a top speed of 291 km/h (180 mph).

Lamborghini has presented the Egoista Concept, the car was unveiled at a private 50th birthday party to celebrate its 50th birthday. Egoista Concept has room for a single occupant, is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 600 horsepower and boasts styling said to be inspired by an Apache helicopter. "The cockpit, made completely of carbon fiber and aluminum, represents a sort of survival cell, allowing the driver to isolate and protect themselves from external elements," De Silva explained."We kept an eye on the future when designing the Egoista, with the idea that its cockpit could have been taken from a jet aircraft and integrated into a road vehicle, to provide a different travel option."

On the 40th anniversary of the 911 Turbo, Porsche announces the 2014 911 Turbo and Turbo S. The 2014 911 Turbo will feature a new all-wheel-drive system with electro-hydraulic control, active rear axle steering, adaptive aerodynamics, full-LED lamps, a longer body, and the widest body in the 911 range. For the standard Turbo, the result is 520 horsepower, a 0-60 miles per hour sprint of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph. Turbo S with 560 horsepower, 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph. The Turbo model will start at $149,250. The video below.
