The Matrix Unplugged Chair($35,000) by Artist/machinist Zoran Milivojevic. Made from the torpedo lifting jaws of a nuclear submarine, this complicated piece of engineering and design, for the rich guy and crazy folks. The best part is that it's the original unit from a never-used prototype, so you won't find any more of these anywhere. Motorized hydraulics adjust the chair position and there are lots of little tech adjusters to make it perfect for you. If you don't like the orange, you can also custom differents color or leather padding.
The Moooi($1,139) designed by blasius osko and oliver deichman for moooi, the clip chair has a solid beech frame and folds flat. according to the designers: "Whilst strolling around a Bulgarian market, a small, foldable basket caught our attention. Single slats were beaded on ropes to form 2 hinged surfaces, which could be transformed into a curved 3 dimensional object. We improved this stunning mechanism, both technically and visually, to create a foldable lounge chair - the 'Clip Chair'. When open, it's straight identical slats form a spacious seating space of supreme comfort. This simple design not only makes the chair highly practical, but also creates a sculptural object of outstanding aesthetic value, whether folded or open." I love this design, but don't like its price.
A very cool chair! The Tour de France Logunge Chair($940) handcrafted from both recycled and new bicycle pieces. Playfully sparked with armrests made of tires that glow in the dark, the Tour de France lounge chair also features bright red grips on its handlebar base and a mischievous horn within heel reach.
The Huggy Armchair by Brit Leissler, Lagostudio. It is a seat, and a bed. A mattress wrapped like the wafer of an ice-cream cone inserted inside a small cylindrical wooden base. This is the inviting and practical Huggy armchair. The hold of the base ring grips the lower part of the mattress, holding it together and creating a wrap-around seat with soft arms. By unscrewing the base, the mattress is automatically unrolled and when required becomes a comfortable emergency bed for guests; when the base is turned upside-down it becomes a useful night table...
The Darlings Bench by Tiina Hakala. Darlings bench is designed especially against Scandinavian melancholy and shyness and is made from two old chairs I found soon after I moved to England. This bench is very special for me, it tells its own story, reflects memories and is quite handy in parties¡

I love this hanging chair - Eureka($2,316) from Property. Made of bamboo and rattan with removable uphostered seat cushion. Designed by Giovanni Travasa. Available in different colors. Property (14 Wooster St.), a modern furniture store in the Soho neighborhood of New York.
The Him and Her chairs designed by Fabio Novembre. Casamania launched the Him and Her chairs at the furniture fair in Milan last month. Made from polyethylene. The sexy chair. Him & Her are born directly from the ideas behind the Panton Chair. An evolution of the hermaphroditic original, declined into the harmony of the two sexes. They assume sculpted forms like naked models of seduction but they feel no shame.
