Located in Goleta, California, this 90′s home received a $35,000 upgrade by Trillium Enterprises. Custom tunnels, walkways, ledges to his home so that they could have fun adventures without going outside. The owner also installed a special spiral step and climbing pole next to an aquarium in his office. He even installed a special ventilation system to keep the air clean. More images jump more.

Kindergarten Die Katze in Wolfartsweier near Karlsruhe, Germany is a children's school designed in the adorable likeness of a giant, white cat.

Designed by artist Tomi Ungerer and architect Ayla-Suzan Yöndel, the building is shaped to mimic a crouching kitty with its ears upright, looking as though it is ready to pounce at any moment. The circular windows at the front of the imaginative architecture serve as the enormous cat's eyes whereas the tail in the back is actually a slide. Inside the kitty kindergarten, all of the usual amenities are present—classrooms, coatrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and a main hall.

Upside-down mugs

These three upside down mugs (entitles Muglexia) by Henry Franks, the winner of the New Designer of the Year Award, illustrate inversion and as a result are more stable and more balanced in the hand because the handle position being (upside down and) lower down than normal. This gives a more comfortable pour when drinking due to where the centre of gravity is. They are also more stable in general and less likely to be knocked over. The inverted shape also keeps tea and coffee hotter for longer.
