Serero Architects and his redesign Eiffel Tower Project

Paris-based Serero Architects have claimed victory in the open competition to redesign any of the Eiffel Tower's public reception and access areas.. The project will extend the top floor plate of the tower by grafting a high performance carbon Kevlar structure on it. The structure will be temporarily bolted to the slab without requiring any modification of the existing structure. It will expand the usable floor area from 280 m2 to 580m2. I wonder what parisians will think?

The Newspaper House

The interactive artwork by artist Summer Erek, was created with the help of the public who brought old newspapers to fit into the structure. The 5ft high building has been installed as a piece of public art in Gillet Square in Dalston, Hackney. The artist erected the wooden structure in a local church and residents were encouraged to bring and place newspapers into it. Train companies donated about two tonnes of newspapers left by commuters while another 10,000 papers were collected by Project Freesheet. [ Link ]

In this city, if you need a floating house, your own house that you can see the streets from the house's floor? Its name is Backpack House. As mobile as a "rucksack ", adds extra space at the front of each residential building attached. The Backpack House consists of a cube-made element with the dimensions width 2.50 m, 2.50 m in height and 3.60 m deep. The construction is a welded steel cage with a light birch veneered plywood interior cladding. The height of the top floor of the cube element is approximately 10.50 m, and the total weight of the sculpture is approximately 2.0 t. For the fearless high person!

Spittelau Viaducts project in Vienna, Austria by Zaha Hadid nearing completion. The site is formed via the culmination of densely overlapping infrastructural elements: the "Spittelauer Leande" is one of Vienna's most highly traveled roadways; the Danube Canal connecting Germany to Hungary. The housing is built along the Donaukanal, over Otto Wagner's elevated metro viaduct.

In Sudell Cross in Blackburn, UK where a £1.1 million marvel of light and architecture standing 10 m tall, attracts tourists much to the delight of the local shop and restaurant owners. The Braid designed by artist Simon Watkinson, is a RHOS complied steel and fabricated metal column with color changing LED fittings in the 3M Martin Architectural lights (they control transporting and are responsible for even distribution of lights).
