Samsung announced their newest flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4. The new Galaxy 7.9mm Galaxy S 4 looks a lot like the Galaxy S 3, which has a full HD resolution, 5' 'inch(1,920 x 1,080) Super AMOLED 441 ppi screen. It feautures a 13 Megapixel camera and a front facing 2 megapixel camera , eight Core 1.6GHz Processor, 2GBs of RAM 16/32/64GBs of storage, and 4G LTE connectivity. It has built-in temperature and humidity sensors, and a removable battery. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available with a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 65GB cards. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch worldwide at the end of April.
The Taiwan division of the U.S. Polytron Technologies has claimed to have developed a fully-transparent cell phone. Surprisingly, the functionality of the cell phone is almost the same as that of a smartphone. It can be touch-activated only on one side, but can display images on both front and back. The company has received orders to produce in batches within the year.
British O2 has upcycled old, unwanted cell phones, dubbed "Walkie Talkies", to give them a new lease on life. The first project sees recycled handsets and vintage footwear combined to create fully functional shoe phones that are also works of art. They are created by designer Sean Miles.

Nokia's new phone, the Lumia 920(TBA), which is running Windows 8 Phone platform, features a 4.5'' Nokia PureMotion HD Plus display WXGA resolution(1280 x 768), a slightly higher resolution than the standard HD (1,280x720 pixels), and with a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 32GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. A British university student has designed a phone that uses a bamboo exterior. The Bamboo phone is called ADzero, it’s an Android smartphone made out of bambo and was designed by 23 year-old Middlesex University student Kieron-Scott Woodhouse. As of right now there are no details on the hardware that’s running in this gorgeous looking device but it’s “approximately half the weight of an Apple iPhone, while boasting a larger screen.” The hardware is accompanied by a unibody design crafted out of a single piece of four-year old organic bamboo.

A Chinese company has showed the world's first mobile phone at the Computex exhibition in Taipei on Friday. The phone called xpPhone, as its name, which runs the Windows XP system! The device has a pull-out QWERTY keypad, a 4.8 inch LCD touchscreen(800x480) and a 120GB hard disk. The xpPhone can wake up from the standby mode to receive calls and text messages. It has a battery life of seven hours when not in standby mode. It weighs 400 grams and is 2.5 centimeters thick. Other features include Wi-Fi, optional WiMax, GPS and next-generation mobile. The xpPhone will hit on the China in about three months and later be marketed worldwide.
