I love this Monopoly Repackaging Redesign, designed by Andy Mangold. The card holders and line of house looks like the gambling in the casino.
"Monopoly, in spite being the classiest of all board games, unfortunately is packaged just as boringly and uncreatively as every other garbage board game on the shelves. So, I decided to repackage it... turning the class up to 11.
All of the boxes are made out of chocolate brown mat board and skinned in cream arches cover. The final package is just over 10" x 10" x 1.5" and includes smaller containers for all of the various pieces and cards and a laser-cut holder for all of the houses and hotels."

"The face of a clock usually indicates the units of time, while also serving as the backdrop for the hour and minute hands. Time is usually read as a relationship between the clock's face and its hands. Eclipse reverses this relationship by eliminating the clock face. It uses only the hands of the clock to tell the time. Besides enabling the user to tell the time from the positions of the hour and minute hands, Eclipse also displays time's units digitally. The Roaming Projector is a portable visual media player with an integrated DVD player and digital television. The Pushover Clock is perfect for morning aggression, as it must be pushed over to turn off the alarm. The Value Data contains two USB storage devices of 25GB each. One is the more robust Travel Data and the other is for Reserve Data, more of a back up device. The Rewind Music Player(pic) is a digital audio player that uses a winding gesture reminiscent of the classic cassette tape to change volume and track. Other objects in this collection are the Two Toothbrush, the Touch Cup and the Soft Phone.

The design of a new commemorative 5 Euro coin, called the Architecture Fiver, it based on the subject 'Netherlands and Architecture'. Designed by artist Stani Michiels, the portrait of the Dutch Queen Beatrix is constructed with names of important Dutch architects. On the outside the names are clearly readable, while they slowly get smaller to the center. The back side of the coin is designed as a book shelf. The books rise as buildings towards the center. Through their careful placement they combine to outline the Netherlands, while birds' silhouettes suggest the geographical location of the capitals of all the provinces. Check out see the big pics. The Square Traffic Lights designed by famous Art Lebedev Studio. It seems that many people like this design, but I don't like this design, I like traditional round traffic lights!
"The shape of traffic lights has barely changed since they were invented¡ªthere have always been three round lights: red, yellow and green. Initially, the sections were round simply because this allowed the spherical bulp inside light the glass evenly.
Today traffic lights use superbright light diodes that can be arranged in any way. And the sections are plastic, which also means any shape can be created.
Our idea is to produce square traffic lights. This can make the signals more easily noticeable and recognizable, with larger lit area for the same overall dimensions."
