Umbrella Possibilities by Steven M. Johnson.
"Two of my designs, published in 1983, became products many years later. One can now purchase a colorful umbrella hat, and in 2005 BusinessWeek magazine awarded a Bronze Design Award for an inflatable umbrella with a hand pump that looks similar to my design published 22 years earlier. "

No word on whether these will eventually hit the stores.

"In Japan there is a "my chopsticks" movement because the wooden disposable chopsticks are a waste of resources. But people miss the feeling when they pull them apart. That is ritual is the starting sign of the meal.
"Stickpecker" is a solution for that. The Magnet resembles the feeling of pulling apart wooden chopsticks. Also the wood pecker and wood design reminds you of a peaceful forest that you are protecting at that very moment. You can say good bye to the wooden ones. Acrylic

I can shave off many charging hours by redesigning the fan blades, making it more efficient in catching the wind while sun bathing at the beach, doing walking trips in the mountains or just holding it outside a car window while driving along...."  still in beta.

    Footstickers by Frieke Severs.
There are many advantages of bare feet sporting: better motion control, more feeling in your feet and direct floor contact, etc. In this way you are more grounded and more aware of your feet and movements. Its also a good training for stronger feet. But a disadvantage is the risk of injuries, you can easily twist or slip.
The footsticker improves the activity and keeps the bare foot feeling! The flexible material feels like a second skin. This footsticker gives you more grip, support and protection.

For this project we were pushed by our Professor to push the boundaries of current upper-limb prosthetic design. Through extensive research I found that the prosthetic functioned as an assistant to the dominant functioning hand. The prosthetic needed to be both flexible and adjustable in order to accommodate a variety of different grips."
