Porsche 911 50 Years Edition

Porsche celebrates the 50th anniversary of its 911 model with a special edition release. Only making 1,963 units. The car is based on the rear-wheel-drive Carrera S, but it comes in the wider body typically reserved for the Carrera 4. With the seven-speed manual transmission the 911 50 Years Edition can dispatch the 0-62mph sprint in 4.5sec and hit 186mph. Featuring the original 911 includes the 3.8L flat-six engine, Fuchs wheels, a chrome grill, classically styled gauges, and houndstooth-patterned sport seats. Available in a choice of a PDK automatic or a seven-speed manual transmission.

Audi R8 V10 by ABT

The ABT has taken the Audi R8 V10 and made it faster, pumping up the 5.2-liter FSI V10 from 525 horsepower to 600 hp, and torque from 391 pound-feet to 406 lb-ft. ABT has increased the horsepower from 525 to 600, they claim a 0-62 mile per hour run of 3.5 seconds, the same as the R8 V10 Plus and they've increased the horsepower from 525 to 600, and a top speed for 198 miles per hour "is no problem at all."

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S

On the 40th anniversary of the 911 Turbo, Porsche announces the 2014 911 Turbo and Turbo S. The 2014 911 Turbo will feature a new all-wheel-drive system with electro-hydraulic control, active rear axle steering, adaptive aerodynamics, full-LED lamps, a longer body, and the widest body in the 911 range. For the standard Turbo, the result is 520 horsepower, a 0-60 miles per hour sprint of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph. Turbo S with 560 horsepower, 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph. The Turbo model will start at $149,250. The video below.

2014 SRT Viper TA

SRT in collaboration with professional road racers is making the 2014 SRT Viper TA(Time Attack). Based on the SRT Viper model, the new 2014 SRT Viper TA features Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, Bilstein suspension, upgraded Brembo brakes, and an advanced aerodynamics packages with carbon fiber front splitters and rear spoiler. Powered by a handcrafted, all-aluminum 8.4-liter, mid-front V-10 overhead-valve engine. Performance ratings are 640 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. Only 33 units of the 2014 SRT Viper TA in Crusher Orange will be built at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, beginning in third quarter 2013.

The Ferrari LaFerrari is the company's new limited-series flagship, a million-dollar, 963-horsepower gas/electric hybrid supercar called the LaFerrari. Ferrari promises will include a top speed more than 217 miles per hour and a 0-62 mph time of under three seconds. Ferrari says the LaFerrari will be its fastest street car ever. It's also a hybrid made entirely of carbon fibre, it will do 62 mph under 3 seconds, and they will only make 499 while already having about 700 orders.

Lamborghini Veneno

The Lamborghini Veneno supercar debuted today in Geneva, powered by Lamborghini's 6.5-liter V12 producing 750 horsepower, a top speed of 220 mph, and a 0-62 time under three seconds.  The Veneno is reported to mark Lamborghini's 50th anniversary, with a price tag of around $4.6 million. Nissan unveils 2014 GT-R Track Edition

Nissan has unveiled the "Track Edition" GT-R at the Chicago Auto Show today. The car delivers 545 hp and peak torque of 463 pound-feet. The Track Edition will have no rear seats, instead having rather cheap looking quilted cloth in place of the rear seats. There's also a specially tuned suspension, special brake cooling guides, a front spoiler with carbon fiber air ducts, a dry carbon fiber rear spoiler and RAYS wheels with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT run-flat tires. The car will be very limited edition with only 150 being produced. Nissan dealerships in May 2013 in the limited edition run of 150 units at an undisclosed price.

Chevy has unveiled the 2014 Corvette Stingray. The 2014 Corvette Stingray is the most powerful standard model ever, with an estimated 450 horsepower (335 kW) and 450 lb.-ft. of torque (610 Nm). Powered by a 6.2L LT1 V-8 engine, from 0-60 in less than four seconds and achieve more than 1g in cornering grip. It also included a carbon fiber hood and removable roof panel and a new aluminum frame help shift weight rearward for an optimal 50/50 weight balance.

2014 Porsche Cayman

Porsche's new Cayman, it will be launched on the market in two versions: Cayman and Cayman S.
The Cayman is powered by a 2.7-liter engine with 275 hp; with the Sport Chrono package it accelerates from a standstill to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The 3.4-liter engine in the Cayman S produces 325 hp; with PDK and the Sport Chrono package it sprints from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The new Cayman will arrive dealerships in Spring 2013 starting at $52,600 for the Cayman and $63,800 for the Cayman S.

The follow-up Zagato Roadster was conceived, designed and produced in just six short weeks in order to be ready for its debut this weekend at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Audi reveals refreshed 2013 R8 lineup, a seven-speed S-tronic transmission and a new flagship V10 Plus model. The V8 model will use a 430 hp, 4.2 liter FSI engine, from 0-62 in 4.3 seconds, a top speed of 186 mph. The standard V10  will boast 525 hp, from 0-62 time of 3.6 seconds, a top speed of 195 mph. The V10 Plus will bost 550 hp, 0-62 time of 3.5 seconds, and a top speed of 196 mph.

Spanish company Aspid just revealed their GT-21 Invictus, powered by the latest generation BMW V8 engine that delivers 450 horsepower. From 0-60 in under 3 seconds and a top speed at 189 miles per hour. Its weight is only 2,182 pounds thanks to composite body panels and a spaceframe chassis. Aspid is currently aiming to start building its newest model in 2014, but there's no word on pricing yet. The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT model, replacing previous SLS AMG versions, with an enhanced maximum output of 583 hp (435 kW), a re-calibrated AMG Speedshift 7-speed transmission. Available as a Coupe and Roadster, it will go on sale in mid-November 2012. Lamborghini Aventador J

The J Roadster is a roofless, V12-powered supercar which is powered by a 6.5-liter that is capable of delivering a total of 700 HP. Top speed goes up to an impressive 186 mph - a little less than the standard Aventador, but the J has to take into account it’s missing roof. It makes extensive use of carbon fiber, including a patented material called "carbon skin" for the interior. The car is so extreme that the driver must wear a helmet, though the car can be registered for road use, Lamborghini says. Lamborghini Aventador J sells for $2.8 million.
