Wow, see this tractor's tires, Cool! It is the Case IH's Steiger Quadtrac 4WD tractor($TBA) that features four independent tracks instead of tires. It offer increased traction and flotation over soil, more featuring at below.
Each 30" rubber track provides 68.5 inches of contact with the ground surface. Each track can pivot up and down 10 degrees, allowing the track assembly to follow the ground contour. Because each track assembly works independently, the track remains on the ground. And with the 26 degrees of oscillation between the front and rear of the tractor, operators enjoy a superior ride, while the tractor provides superior flotation and traction. Depending on the tractor's configuration, soil compaction will be as little as 4.9 to 5.3 pounds per inch.
"Case IH 4WD tractors feature three frame sizes and an industry-leading long wheelbase and drawbar design for superior conversion of horsepower into pulling power ¨C while delivering comfort, convenience and reliability."

Ford has announced a New Active Park Assist helps drivers parallel park with the touch of a button and without ever touching the steering wheel. In Ford's version, you just pull alongside a space and push a button. The sensors of the car will measure and calculate a a feasible parallel parking space, and prompts the driver to give the OK. After pushes the OK, the EPAS (Electronic Power Assisted Steering) will automatically steer the car into the parking space hands-free. Click 2 see big pic!!
Here's how Active Park Assist works:
    • The driver activates the system by pressing an instrument panel button, which activates the ultrasonic sensors to measure and identify a feasible parallel parking space.
    • The system then prompts the driver to accept the system assistance to park.
    • The steering system then takes over and steers the car into the parking space hands-free. The driver still shifts the transmission and operates the gas and brake pedals.
    • A visual and/or audible driver interface advises the driver about the proximity of other cars, objects and people and provides instructions.
    • While the steering is all done automatically, the driver remains responsible for safe parking and can interrupt the system by grasping the steering wheel.

Available as an option on both the 2010 Lincoln MKS and the as-yet-unrevealed 2010 Lincoln MKT seven-seat crossover, Active Park Assist accompanies Ford's new Electric Power Assisted Steering.

The world's largest robotic vehicle! When I hear "world's largest", I think maybe you will need to know it! Computer scientists from Carnegie Mellon University have teamed up with engineers from Caterpillar, adapting software CMU used in the DARPA Urban Challenge, to automate the 700-ton trucks, which are made to haul loads up to 240 tons from mines.
That's nearly two million pounds of metal, fuel and stone powered by a 3,550-horsepower, 24-valve engine moving at up to 42 miles per hour, with software and a robot at the wheel. The Caterpillar trucks will be equipped with numerous high-tech gadgets and GPS receivers to keep them on the road. Laser range finders would sweep the road in front of the trucks to identify large objects. Video equipment would then determine if the object is a hazard, such as a rock, or not. All of the information would then be run through a computer program that would tell the robotic driver to avoid the obstacle or not and by how much...[ link ]

The Tonke Campers from Dutch. They are not injection-molded by machines. Tonke shows how you can marry 'oldtimer' materials and aesthetics with thoroughly modern fittings. All of Tonke Campers are hand-built the traditional way by craftsmen. They're inspired by gypsy caravans. The Tonke Campers includes two models: the Explorer and the Fieldsleeper. The Explorer(€69,800; about $95,000) is based on the Renault Master van, with a six-speed stick shift and a 2.5 liter diesel with 260 Nm of torque. The longer Fieldsleeper model based on VW Crafter(€85,017; about $115,000) or the identical Mercedes Sprinter van chassis.
"Gorgeous polished mahogany fittings provide a pleasing contrast to the teak floors. The sinks are porcelain, and the faucets are chrome. The windows are flat, clear and bright. You can specify solid wood doors and enjoy the view through safety glass, not molded or tinted plastic."
