Developed by Québécois inventor Yvon Martel, it's called the MTT-136. The idea itself is pretty simple: put an electric motor and battery pack inside an aluminum box powering a tread going around its circumference and throw a handlebar on one end. It weighs just 280 pounds, it can schlepp you along for anywhere from 28 to 130 miles on a charge time ranging from 15 minutes to 8 hours. Martel is currently looking for manufacturing partner.

Tesla has announced that they are launching the Tesla Model S in China. Coming in at 734,000 CNY, which is around $121,000 US dollars, it carries a premium over the $81,070 US base price (without incentives).
"Today we’re launching the Model S online design studio in China and announcing the price of the car. For Chinese customers, the price of the Model S with the premium 85 kWh battery pack is 734k CNY.
This pricing structure is something of a risk for Tesla, but we want to do the right thing for Chinese consumers. If we were to follow standard industry practice, we could get away with charging twice as much for the Model S in China as we do in the US. But we’re doing things differently, even if it means that some people might look at the price and mistakenly think it must somehow mean the Model S has less value than its competitors

The app generates music in real-time based on how you already drive, so your habits behind the wheel affect what's being played on your sound system. Play the road generates music via a phone app that's connected to the GTI's onboard computer, reading the driver's location and movements to compose music live.
"The innovative app reads how and where you drive, translating it into music live. The app gets speed and RPM data from the GTI’s on-board computer. The steering acceleration and location data is calculated from a combination of the accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS receiver present in the iPhone. All of the data collected is filtered and smoothed before use.
The application makes use of the musical programming language PD (Pure Data) to generate the music and effects live. So you create unique music with your drive in real time. Driving Music reinvented

The electric-powered Armadillo-T was developed by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) as a way to help reduce the amount of space used when a car is parked and not in use. Using a 13.6 kWh battery, the car is able to travel up to 37 miles per hour with about a 60 mile range on a single charge. To accommodate the folding feature, the designers replaced traditional fold-out rear view mirrors with surround-view cameras. Its size can fall to 1.65 meters as the rear part can slide forward, folding the two-seat doors up vertically. The four in-wheel motors also provide effective four-wheel drive, and enable it to rotate 360 degrees when it is folded.

Jeff Bloch, AKA "SpeedyCop", is an American race-car enthusiast who likes to create all sorts of crazy contraptions for the popular 24-hour LeMons Race. His latest project is a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro that SpeedyCop flipped over, then made roadworthy.  To create this one-of-a-kind freak on wheels, he stripped off the Fiesta’s body and replaced it with the upside-down carcass of the Chevy Camaro.
"I’m an 8 year-old kid trapped in a 40 year-old body, with just enough talent to pull off my wacky ideas, and, fortunately, enough truly amazing friends to help make them a reality."
