| Today Ricoh announced a rugged-looking, water and dust resistant camera - Ricoh G600($TBD). It is a 10 megapixel, 5x optical zoom, with wide-angle focal point camera. You can shoot up to 1 meter underwater and drop it onto 26 different surfaces from a height of 1.5 meters. Other features packed a 2.7-inch display, shooting VGA video at 30fps, flash with a ten-meter range, support for SD/SDHC memory cards of up to 8GB. The G600 can also take AAA-batteries in case its lithium-ion runs out. Perfect for the outdoor use. |
