| Hi, I have the 9780 and I really like it!The Bold 9780 has a 5mp cearma whereas the cearma in the 9700 has a 3.2 mpThe 9780 has more memory, 512 MB vs 256 MB.The 9780 is fasterThey both have wifi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPSThe 9780 runs 06 but the 9700 can be upgraded to this operating system too.The rest of the specifications are pretty much the same: same weight, size, battery life, keyboard,etc.The look of the devices is very similar. The white models look the same but the black ones you can tell them apart because the 9700 has a shiny silver metal rim around it but in the 9780 this metal part is all black.For more info, check out the Blackberry website, there's an application that lets you compare different models.Hope this helps! |
