The CLEVER concept design from the Technical University of Berlin - a compact fuel-efficient vehicle for city driving. It is a three-wheel vehicles(two rear wheels and one front) and for two with a tandem seat constellation. It has a computer-countrolled hydraulic rolling system which results in a driving experience with zero lateral forces at tilting angles of up to 45กใ, similar to riding a motorcycle. It is 10 ft long, 3.3 ft wide and 4.4 feet high and weighs 870lbs. Powered by single cylinder 230cc compressed natural gas engine, which can reach top speed 62 mph and produced less than 60 g/km of CO2. Its fuel consumption is 188 miles per gallon. If it ever makes it to production, the vehicle is expected to cost around $10,000. It is a compact and low emissions urban driving vehicle. Check out see more CLEVER's pics and the its competitor - Carver's video.

Competition for the Clever is already building, with the Carver One already on sale in the UK from Prodrive. Using a 660cc turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the Carver can reach 115mph and manages 0-60mph in 8.2 seconds. A Carver One will set you back £27,654. Continue see the Carver video.
