Basic House PocketSized Portable House

Basic House designed by Barcelona based designer Martin Azua. It's basically an lightweight balloon that can be carried in your pocket and used for shelter.
"The Basic House is a temporary housing solution so portable it can be folded up to fit in your pocket. Created from a metalized polyester material, when unfolded it self inflates with body heat or from the heat of the sun to provide an instant shelter. Once inside the shelter, the material reflects your body heat to keep the user warm. If reversed the material will reflect the sun to keep a cool interior."

I dunno, oki, that opening doesn't look like it could possibly be sealed airtight. I don't see any closure on it at all, actually, which could be bad in high winds, dust storms, rain or snow. I think it's just really efficient at holding in heat.

ok, this looks cool. all it needs is a foldable and attachable door, or maybe two possible attachments and one is a screenwindow . i am ready to buy one of these. i want to fill it up with blankets and hang out. i very much doubt its abilities to keep a cool interior, though. you're still going to be inside a plastic bag.
