The latest version Volkswagen Beetle is coming. The new Beetle is 3.3 inches wider and 6 inches longer than the outgoing model. It is 71.2 inches wide and 168.4 inches long, and has a wider track. The bonnet is longer, a look exacerbated by the cabin being pushed back and the windshield being more upright and closer to the driver. 2012 Beetle will offer three engines: a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter gasoline five-cylinder engine, a 140-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI clean diesel engine and a 200-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder TSI turbocharged gasoline engine. Check out see more pics.
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will be on display this week at the 2011 New York Auto Show and the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, and will go on sale in the U.S. in September. Pricing was not announced.

As a man I'm very disappointed. But its Volkswagon. Still a chick car.

I'm more disappointed that you cannot spell Volkswagen, Jason.

They ruined it by trying to appeal to men! What was wrong with it being a ‘chick’ car? Now it’s starting to look like everything else, where’s the individuality?

What a sweet looking car.  It's much cuter and manly than the Beetle it replaces.  Make mine white with a turbo!!
